Julie Testa was first elected to the Pleasanton City Council in November 2018 and re-elected in November 2022. A 30-year resident of Pleasanton, Councilmember Testa has a lengthy history of civic participation within the community, including 11 years of services as a Human Services Commissioner, and as a board member for Tri-Valley REACH and the Tri-Valley chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
Councilmember Testa currently serves on multiple city and regional subcommittees including the City of Pleasanton Audit Committee, Bernal Property Financing Committee, Dublin Liaison Committee, Economic Vitality Committee, Fair Liaison Committee, Livermore Liaison Committee, Waste and Recycling Committee, Altamont Landfill Community Monitor Committee, Association of Bay Area Governments, Livermore Amador Valley Water Management Agency, and the Tri-Valley Affordable Housing Committee.
Councilmember Testa is a small business owner with her husband Nick.
