2015 Community of Character Juanita Haugen Awards

Deadline for Submissions is April 13

This award was established in 2008 to recognize Pleasanton citizens who consistently model high ethical and moral standards of behavior and are dedicated volunteers who contribute their time to our community. Candidates for this award should exhibit traits chosen by the Citizens of Pleasanton and Advocated by the Collaborative:  Compassion, Honesty, Respect, Integrity, Self-Discipline, and Responsibility.

Anyone wishing to nominate an individual or a non-profit group demonstrating a commitment to our Community of Character traits through their volunteer work within our community a nomination form is available at our website www.communityofcharacter.org  . Completed forms may be mailed to The Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce 777 Peters Avenue, Pleasanton, CA  94566 or submitted to our email address at PleasantonCommunityofCharacter@gmail.com

The deadline for submission is April 13, 2015.

Nominees must be Pleasanton residents or non-profit groups conducting their volunteer work within Pleasanton while exhibiting the community established character traits.

Juanita Haugen Community of Character Award recipients will be honored at the May 13, 2015 Community of Character Collaborative Luncheon 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at the Veteran’s Memorial Building 301 Main Street Pleasanton, CA.  The luncheon reservation form will be available online at the Chamber of Commerce website www.pleasanton.org or through the Community of Character website at www.communityofcharacter.org .
