Free Community Education Series Presents Workshops on Transitioning to Middle and High School

The City of Pleasanton’s Free Community Education Series continues on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 with a special presentation for parents and students entitled “Transitioning to Middle School”. The program will take place from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the large meeting room of the Pleasanton Public Library at 400 Old Bernal Avenue.

Students and parents are invited to participate in a panel discussion and Q & A about the transition from elementary to middle School. Panelists will include middle school students and parents, Dr. Kaikai Lam, a pediatrician from Kaiser San Ramon, and a Pleasanton Unified School District representative.  A similar format program is scheduled on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, also from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the large meeting room of the library, and the topic is “Transitioning to High School.” Both students and parents will hear from a panel that includes high school students and parents, Dr. Ian Bartos, a pediatrician from Kaiser Permanente, and the principal from Foothill High School.
